With an ability to provide first line technical support, and to drive work through from concept to completion, you will also manage specific projects of work.

About you

With a minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering, you will have at least 5 years’ experience of working in a similar high hazard, top tier COMAH environment. Proven experience of working with pressure systems and rotating equipment is also essential as well as successfully applying reliability techniques to drive OEE. With strong communication and influencing skills, you will be comfortable with influencing people at all levels to ensure that work is completed safely, to high standards, on time and to budget.

In this role you will also provide coaching and mentoring to support the development of less experienced E/I Engineers across the site as well as having the opportunity to contribute to the development of strategic projects on other Lucite International sites. About the role

Provide day-to-day technical support for E&I issues for the assigned areas. Work closely with the area Maintenance Specialist and technicians to provide engineering input on daily repairs and chronic issues. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to work in a fast moving and rapidly growing manufacturing environment. Able to perform a wide variety of tasks with strict attention to the smallest details. Will perform duties including but not limited to:

Principlal Accountabilities

  • Evaluate manufacturing schedule and coordinate the availability and controlled flow of materials and services to meet production and customer requirements
  • Provide detailed status of material availability, inventory and communicate constraints to schedule
  • Prepare production orders for the production of product based on master production schedule, customer forecast and inventory levels
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activity with production, laboratory, quality, and logistics companies.
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of product by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
  • Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and other production areas
  • Monitor and maintain raw material stock to support production
  • Control the proper access and consumption of material in manufacturing
  • Schedule delivery of raw material from storage warehouse or loaded storage facilities.
  • Coordinate the return of empty reusable raw material container to manufactures.
  • Track Import and Export of raw material and finished product.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, documents and spreadsheets.
  • Enter Production Orders and material consumption in SAP system.
  • Process scrap, samples and out of spec inventory from SAP as required.
  • Prepare for, conduct and assist in reconciliation of inventory counts
  • Interface with Logistics companies, Customs Brokers, DOT, Transportations companies, and a wide variety of Vendors.
  • Interaction with all departments and management will be required
  • Complete any other duties assigned

About You

About the role

We are searching for a Laboratory Technician for the Beaumont, TX site. The successful applicant will support the Monomers and Cyanides operating groups by providing quality control through sample testing, interpretation and analysis of data, compilation of results and preparation of associated reports.

Principlal Accountabilities

  • Provide assistance to the Operations group to ensure Quality Assurance and backup sample analysis.
  • Interprets and analyzes data, documents and prepares reports on findings.
  • Control chemical and supply inventories for Laboratory daily operation.
  • Maintains lab equipment readiness through PMs and calibrations.
  • Assists Lab Supervisor with providing Operator lab skills training and documentation.

About You

About the role

Assure reliability of equipment and to repair equipment in a safe, effective, efficient manner. Strive to elevate operational uptime through preventative and predictive maintenance activities with a focus on continuous improvement.

Principlal Accountabilities

  • Promote a safe work environment by using safe work procedures and advising proper guidelines for the purchase, installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
  • Assist in diagnosis of problems to a root cause failure and facilitate repairs as needed.
  • To install, maintain, and repair magnetic motor starters and associated control circuits at voltages up to 2400 in a safe manner.
  • To install, service, and repair electric or pneumatic transmitters, analyzers, and gas chromatographs.
  • To service and repair circuits that utilize distributive control (DCS) or programmable logic controls (PLCs)
  • Available for scheduled overtime and call-in overtime.

About You

Knowledge / Experience / Skills

  • Must possess high school education or GED, two-year degree or technical school desired
  • Must possess applicable WorkKey scores-Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information, Reading for Information
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred-chemical plant experience preferred
  • Able to read/interpret electrical/instrument drawings (single line, schematic, P&I, logic, loop)
  • Able to use computers systems to enter and read data and order parts.
  • Knowledge of PLC’s, distributive control (DCS) systems, electronic/pneumatic transmitters (flow, temperature, etc.), temperature/pressure switches, valve actuators/controllers/positioners, and analyzers
  • Must have a Shelby County Journeyman’s electrical license and ISA Certification in instrumentation. If employee is hired with 1 (one) of the 2 (two) required license/certification they must then obtain the second license/certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Employee will begin as a “B” Mechanic until they acquire skills of an “A” Mechanic within a reasonable amount of time (6-12months).
  • Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, 24-7 operation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our team in Beaumont and help continue our sites development and growth. You will be responsible for ensuring we meet or exceed Lucite and Industry engineering standards for the technical aspects of mechanical maintenance work. This is a key role for us and you will work closely with colleagues across our business to identify, engineer and implement mechanical solutions or improvements to equipment.

Working directly to the Site Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will have proven experience gained within the Chemicals industry and will be confident in working with operations and maintenance colleagues to improve the reliability of both rotating and stationary equipment. You will be a change agent and comfortable with taking ownership and accountability for on-going and project work as the mechanical lead.

We are passionate about Health, Safety and Environment and this role will play a key part in ensuring our safety standards, policies and procedures are fit for purpose and that our colleagues go home safely at the end of their working day. You will lead our Process Hazard, Root Cause Failure analysis, and reliability maintenance studies, developing maintenance strategies to ensure assets are available to the business as required in an effort to achieve World Class reliability and maintenance effectiveness. You will create long range plans for mechanical equipment and provide adequate training for colleagues as well as being a resource for our manufacturing colleagues when they require support.

About You

You will have a strong background of mechanical systems, and an ABS in Mechanical Engineering is required. As such there will be significant opportunities to develop your career within our business, knowledge of Process Equipment, including piping, valves, pumps, tanks and pressure vessels is essential as well as an understanding of process safety management. 10+ years of experience in static equipment reliability is required, general understanding of metallurgy, and codal compliance (API 510 and API 570) is desired.

You will have strong interpersonal skills, determination and an analytical approach to problem solving, making sure that the root cause is understood before actions are taken to rectify an issue. Most importantly you will be a self-starter with a desire to achieve results.

The Opportunity

The primary function of this position is the efficient production of electrolyte solution for lithium ion batteries. In addition, the individual will be responsible for clean room routines, operating equipment, recording and reviewing documentation, and supporting environmental monitoring routines.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Operate production equipment in the manufacturing of chemical products
  • Receive and review order instructions (Batch Records)
  • Set-up, operating and monitoring of chemical transfer equipment.
  • Initiate and control manufacturing of chemicals in vessels, including changing of raw materials, monitoring batches, keeping records and operating process equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Available for scheduled overtime and call-in overtime
  • Adheres to standard operating procedures
  • Completes production records and maintains a clean environment to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Operate, Clean and set-up processing equipment
