Post A Level
We offer opportunities for school leavers in a variety of engineering and commercial disciplines through the Year in Industry scheme organised by EDT, a charity that aims to inspire young people to choose careers in science and engineering. We will give you a comprehensive induction, thorough training and support to help ease you into the workplace. You will get the chance to manage your own work projects under the guidance of our experienced managers, as well as the opportunity to enter your work into the Year in Industry awards. Jennifer MacDonald, our most recent Year in Industry student won the prestigious Regional Contribution to Business Award for her work across 10 different projects at our Cassel site in Billingham. She went on to win a further award at the National Finals.

We offer apprenticeships for Production, Electrical and Instrument Technicians through local training providers. Join one of our apprenticeship schemes and you will get comprehensive training as well as work-based placements on one of our sites. You will have an opportunity for permanent employment with us on successful completion of your apprenticeship.
