The objective of the PSM & AIP Programs Manager position is to manage all of the regulatory functions pertaining to Process Safety Management (PSM) in order to ensure compliance with all laws, policies, standards, procedures and mandates and assure that all elements of the Lucite Corporate Asset Integrity Procedures (AIP) are reviewed and executed. The position is also responsible for coordination of site Manufacturing Excellence activities.
Manage the site PSM Program to comply with OSHA, Lucite and Fite Road Policies and Standards.
Monitor and interpret changes or additions to federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations, Company policy, industry standards and/or good management practices.
Frequently benchmark internally and externally to identify best practices that support PSM strategy and can be applied effectively.
Establish key PSM metrics and provide ongoing analysis and reporting to Core Team.
Assist with Annual VPPPA (Voluntary Protection Participants Program Association) report requested by Tennessee OSHA for the TOSHA/STAR Program.
Coordinate PCR Programs to ensure PSM compliance.
Drive Programs for PSM Committee.
Coordinate overall Site AIP activities, working with the individual AIP responsible engineers, to ensure strict compliance with all corporate requirements and a robust improvement plan and management system.
Work closely with the corporate PSM Improvement Project Steering Committee and AIP Engineering Panel on corporate standard upgrades.
Coordinate training activities associated with the PSM and AIP corporate standard upgrades.

Oversee site systems that manage statutory and/or Lucite AIP inspection requirements for mechanical, civil, electrical, interlock, and structural systems or equipment pieces.
Ensure that DVE’s are used where required by corporate AIP standards.
Oversee the training, development, and mentoring of the Site AIP Responsible Engineers.
Own the Site AIP procedures and ensure they are up to date and reflect all corporate AIP requirements, Federal requirements, and State and Local AIP related requirements.
Coordinate Manufacturing Excellence activities for the site including annual audits and self-assessments.
Assist corporate efforts in developing excellence systems in their disciplines.
The incumbent should be a degreed engineer with at least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing. Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or process development is required to become thoroughly familiar with basic production, equipment, processes and methods.
