High creativity with Perspex®

The Engine Group is a global brand, advertising, PR and events consultancy based in central London. It has a reputation for producing intelligent, creative and highly original work for international clients, which include famous brands such as Coca Cola, BMW and Sky. In refurbishing their London HQ, Engine Group wanted to reflect this reputation with an interior decor to inspire clients, staff and passers-by. Creating something as visually exciting and technically complex as the colour wall made Perspex® a natural choice for the collaborative project, which began with interior design specialists, Jump Studios, who ’re-imagined' the entire reception space. Jump Studio’s vision included the use of contemporary materials, innovative lighting and detailed craftsmanship, which is where acrylicize came in. acrylicize specialises in highly conceptual interiors and architectural design and is devoted to acrylic – especially Perspex®.

At Engine Group, they used a clean, modular design to create a light wall featuring precision cut and fabricated boxes. These boxes were made using different colours of Perspex and Perspex® Frost illuminated with colour changing LEDs to add movement and drama. The resulting art form is truly stunning.
