Spa spectacular logoLucite International’s (LI) new Lucite® spa marketing programme in the USA is set to inject more than a little spring fever into the industry. Launched to a record audience at the International Pool & Spa Expo in Las Vegas in December 2006 and to visitors of Atlantic City’s Pool and Spa Show in January 2007, the ‘buy a spa, get a vacation free’ offer will help retailers to stimulate sales while giving a relaxing mini break to consumers. LI’s US Sales and Marketing Director for spas commented: “We put this promotion together to jump start consumer spending on spas. When consumers consider buying a spa, due to funds, the decision often comes down to either buying a hot tub or taking a vacation. Many people cannot do both so we designed an offer to allow customers to ‘have their cake and eat it!”

The Company’s offer is open to US spa manufacturing partners who buy at least 75% of their cast acrylic sheet requirements from LI, and their retailers. Early signs indicate that this unique promotion is generating a lot of interest and is allowing those who choose to sell spas made from high quality Lucite cast acrylic a truly competitive advantage.
