October 27, 2020 – Lucite International and Agilyx Corporation, a pioneer in the advanced recycling of post-use plastics, announce plans to pursue a commercial-scale trial for recycling PMMA, commonly known as acrylic, at Agilyx’s Tigard, Oregon facility.

Re-engineering our Cassel site for another generation

The next two years will see some significant upgrades at our Cassel site in the UK, demonstrating Mitsubishi Chemical’s commitment to the long-term future of one of the biggest MMA production plants in Europe and one of the group’s longest serving assets.

New ALPHA MMA plant to be constructed on the US Gulf Coast

We are pleased to announce that Lucite International is progressing the project to design and construct a 350,000 metric ton Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) plant in the US utilizing its proprietary ethylene based ALPHA technology.
